Carolyn May is a wife of 39 years and has served with her husband, Gary, in full-time ministry for over 25 of those years. Gary is the senior pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Longview, and together, they have two married sons, beautiful daughter-in-loves, and two grand-prize grandchildren, Magnolia and Miles.
Carolyn serves on the women’s ministry team in her local church, leads women’s Bible studies in the church setting, and embraces the role as her husband’s most dedicated encourager and cheerleader. She also serves on the SBTC Women’s Ministry team, and is the Zone 5 Regional Representative for the East Texas area.
Carolyn is an adjunct college professor for several colleges and universities in the online environment which allows her the privilege of working from home (or on the road) and the flexibility to serve in church ministry. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys riding her motorcycle on the back roads of the East Texas Piney Woods, or relaxing and reading on the patio, with a warm cup of java in hand.
TBC Praise & Worship Band
The band of Trinity Baptist Church formed approximately 5 years ago as they moved from a choir to a praise tam & band. These are faithful musicians who are very committed in leading praise & worship but more importantly each member is encouraged to walk in obedience to the Lord & be faithful on the platform as well as off. They are always willing to serve in any capacity they are needed. Their enjoyment is not only in lifting up praise & worship every Sunday but also includes the time they practice together each week. Faithful, fine musicians who seek to live a life of worship as they lead in Sunday morning praise & song.
